M6 Bit
The objective of this project was to design a specialized BIT for an M6 Roofing Bolt. The unique design requirements focused on enhancing grip and preventing slippage during usage.
BIT Design Features
The BIT is designed with a cross-shaped feature that perfectly aligns with the M6 Roofing Bolt. This feature is critical in preventing slippage, which is a common issue with conventional screwdrivers. Surrounding the cross feature, the BIT incorporates a skirt that fits snugly around the base of the bolt. This skirt provides additional grip and stability, further reducing the risk of slippage during operation.
Tool Set Components
The M6 Roofing Bolt BIT is part of a tool set, designed to enhance both usability and functionality. This set includes a versatile Ratchet Screwdriver, a compact Stubby Screwdriver, a flexible Pivot Joint and a custom magnetic Cleaning Tool for removing any metallic debris in the screwdriver shaft, along with both Long and Short M6 Roofing Bolt Bits.

The M6 BIT and tool set comes in its very own custom tool pouch designed for convenience. The pouch opens fully and sits completely flat on a work surface, allowing you to easily access each tool without hassle. This design ensures that every tool is organized and readily available, streamlining your workflow and keeping your tools secure and accessible during any task.
